Getting started...

Hi! My name is Lucas, I'm a student at Saint Trinnean's teacher training college. As part of a final assignment I'm starting this blog to share with all of you!
    But, why a blog?
The idea is to show and document the process of my final assignment for the subject "Enseñar con Tecnologías", taught by Marcela Villaverde. The aim of the assignment is to plan at least two lessons and enhance them in a meaningful way through the use of the web 2.0 tools and theoretical framework we've studied in 2021. Of course, this plan should be suitable for our future lessons!

We'll cover a lot, so stay tuned! 💪

Lesson #1

So, where do we start? Our class will be composed by students from the second year of secondary school, they would be around the B1 level. For our first lesson on Reported Speech, students will have seen the basic rules of this topic in the previous class. Now it's time for them to start reporting statements, questions and orders. In this class students will start by revising how to report direct speech and then will work. The last topic students looked into was in their previous class was vocabulary related to the environment, this will be necessary for their final product of this unit but will not be included in this lesson.       🙇‍♂️ Warm up activity:       Students will have to log into a Nearpod presentation that is being displayed in the class' TV. When everyone has logged in through their phones the teacher will start a video with a scene from the TV series FRIENDS . The video will stop on its own every once in a while and ask students a multiple choice questions

Lesson #2

For our second lesson we will start by checking homework from last time and using it as warm up excercise for the main activity of the day that will also work as a final product for the unit. In this class students will also need to use their knowledge of vocabulary related to the environment,  a topic that has been fully covered in previous classes.      💪  Warm up activity:     To begin the new lesson students will need to have done their homework and uploaded statements and questions to a Padlet board. When the teacher starts the class the Padlet board will be displayed on the TV, students will then have to join the board through their phones and choose different quotes to transform into reported speech, meanwhile the teacher will be looking at these sentences and giving a "like" to the correct ones.      This short activity is an instance of active learning, students are creating the content and applying the theory they are studying on their own, the teacher is the
